Chemical Incident Procedure
Load confirmations are communicated via FAX, Email. DSN’s team of logistics experts takes the time to note all the information pertinent to each load on the confirmation sheet. It is important that our drivers read and understand all the information on our confirmation sheet. It is extremely important to our mutual customers that this information is followed carefully. If any of the requirements of a load cannot be met, DSN must be advised immediately.

In the Event of a Spill
In the event of a spill please contact the emergency number that appears on all your dispatched pick-ups and/or the Bill of Lading. All incidents must be reported to the appropriate number. In addition, please report all incidents to DSN at (800) 388-3487. This number is active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When reporting an incident please note that the following information is required:
- Location of the incident
- Telephone number and contact name
- Type of incident ( fire/spill or release/medical)
- Quantity of spill or release.
- Have people been affected?
- What help is available?
- Agencies at the scene (Police/Fire/media/government)
